Just before my domain name expired I tried to renew it online, but it would not work, so I called support and they said no worries you have credits we will apply, so your domain won't expire. I then had trouble getting my site to upload and spent 2 hours with support who finally said it was a front page problem and advised me to get new software and rebuild my site. I did that, only to find my site still wouldn't run. After several phone calls I was finally told that the entire problem all along is that my domain name expired. So the support person did not apply my credits and I was about to lose my domain name completely, however I could now pay powweb $160 to save it. So the end result was that they stole my domain name and held it hostage for $160, forcing me to pay it or lose my domain name. Also lost is my time building a new site, hours with their support team trying to "fix" a phantom problem, and of course the money I was out buying new software! Now that is service with a smile!
