Power Management
Gate.com takes "uninterrupted power" to a whole new level. The datacenters run 100% of the time on battery power. Redundant control units in the power grid recharge the batteries while they operate. In the event of a power failure, the batteries continue to power the facility, with no cut-off delay, while the generators kick in to take over recharging duties.
Physical Security
The facilities are protected by 24/7 surveillance, and entry is restricted by key-card access and biometrics. The datacenters are also protected by FM200 waterless fire detection and suppression technology.
Server Access by Customer
