DataCenter
At GoDaddy's 300,000+ square foot data center (with 30,000+ square feet filled with computers) you'll get world-class networking with a DWDM powered multi-10 Gigabit Ethernet backbone that's connected to 9 Gbps worth of bandwidth by peering with multiple diverse Tier 1 upstream providers using full BGP routing.
Power Management
GoDaddy's uninterruptible power supply is backed up by diesel generators with enough fuel to last over 7 days. Utility power is routed into the building via diverse paths and conditioned by HVAC cooling units.
Physical Security
The facilities are monitored by trained security staff 24/7. Entry is restricted by multiple biometric methods including fingerprint scan and retinal scan. All entryways and common areas have closed circuit video cameras recording all activity and all equipment is kept in locked cages. The facility is also protected by fully redundant N+1 HVAC cooling systems and state-of-the-art VESDA fire detection and FM200 fire suppression systems.

General Managed Services - Bundles
GoDaddy gives you two ways to have your virtual dedicated server. Either choose from one of their preconfigured plans or create your own plan from the bottom up. Choose between Linux and Windows. Choose from a 10-50 GB disk drive, from 500-2000 GB bandwidth, and from 256 MB with 1 GB burstable to 512 MB with 2 GB burstable RAM. Each plan comes with an SSL cert, free setup, and 3 dedicated IPs. VDS plans come with the Red Hat Fedora Core OS, but CentOS and Windows Server Enterprise Edition 2003 are also available. You can even opt for the Plesk control rather than Simple Control Panel or cPanel.
Security and Updates
GoDaddy uses a trademarked TippingPoint Intrusion Prevention System to provide your data, your site, your hardware, and your visitors the ultimate in protection. It works by monitoring all incoming traffic and analyzing it to determine whether it contains any malicious data packets. The addition of the TippingPoint Digital Vaccine service regularly updates filters stay on top of the most current threats.
Backup Services
FTP backup is available for extra cost ($2.99-$9.99 for 10-50 GB).
