DataCenter
The easyCGI Class A datacenter is situated on their 1.2 million square foot campus in the same facility as their corporate headquarters. Their network boasts a redundant Gigabit Ethernet fiber optic uplink to geographically diverse providers using Cisco routers and Dell Dual Xeon servers with 12 GB of physical RAM and RAID storage.
Power Management
Your hardware and software is kept up and running with a top of the line Liebert uninterrupted power supply with interim backup and a 500 kilowatt Caterpillar backup generator.
Physical Security
EasyCGI has multiple secure access controls in place in both their datacenter and corporate offices. These include escorts for all guests 100% of the time. All equipment is kept in locked network and data cabinets at all times.
Server Access by Customer
Physical Access: All guests are accompanied by an escort at all times.
Root Access: You remain the system administrator and have administrative and root access
Service Offerings
General Managed Services - Bundles
All easyCGI virtual/dedicated customers get 2 IP addresses, hardware management, a private name server, and support for all the major third-party web-related programs and scripting languages, including multimedia support. Depending on which of their 3 tiered plans you get, the number of other easyCGI customers using the same physical hardware as you is limited to between 10 and 30.
Security and Updates
easyCGI handles server monitoring for you, and takes care of any problems that arise for you, before you ever have to know or worry about it.
Firewall
All easyCGI virtual/dedicated plans are firewall protected.
Backup Services
In the event of power or system failure, all data is backed up into fault-tolerant Network Access Storage systems.
