Interland pricing has improved over the years but is certainly always been expensive when compared to other web-hosting companies. If you are interested in services such as VPS (Virtual Private Server) they do have some good plans that allow you to host and manage unlimited domains and websites. For $7.95 per month, you only get 25 GB of data transfer and 1000 MB of space. This is much less compared to what other web comparable hosting companies are offering their clients.
Reliability
Although Interland has been winning some awards of late for reliability and uptime their reputation over time is far from a reliable web hosting company. We have received numerous issues with downtime via this web-host when compared to other web hosting companies.
Control Panel
Interland users currently use CPanel to manage the different aspects of their site. This includes creating e-mail accounts, managing databases, disk space management, etc. Their control panel is very basic and vanilla.
Customer Support
Interland offers several options for support, including online technical support, email, 24/7 phone and a comprehensive set of online reference and user guides. But Interland has developed a bad reputation for customer service that includes convenient billing disputes, extended downtime of their servers, lengthy customer service waiting times, and untrained service personnel.
