Uptime Guarantee
Though there is no uptime guarantee promised to Lunarpages customers, they do report experiencing 99.9% uptime on all network equipment and servers, citing that the 0.1% of downtime is the equivalent of only 9 hours per year.

DataCenter
In Lunarpages' Los Angeles-based datacenter, you'll find your choice of CentOS Linux- or Microsoft Windows.NET Server 2003-run DellT PowerEdge 2850 server with either Intel Celeron, Pentium or Dual Xeon processors and 4 GB memory, connected to a 2,000 Mbit fiber network with direct connection to more than 150 carriers, including: AOL/TimeWarner and Cable & Wireless, Global Crossing, Mzima Networks, Japan Telecom, Level3, SBC, Sawis, AT&T, Microsoft/MSN, Hurricane Electric, and NTT/Verio.
Server Plans
All dedicated plans include three IP addresses with additional addresses and clustered, load balanced servers available plus SSH, MySQL databases, and e-Commerce tools. An SSL certificate can be purchased and installed for $24.95.
Power Management
Lunarpages utilizes dual redundant power sources as well as gas-powered backup generators and a big enough supply of fuel suitable for sustaining the entire data center for a full 72 hours.
Physical Security
All Lunarpages servers are monitored 24/7/365 by trained and experienced specialists.
Control Panels and Extended Options:
Lunarpages servers can also be equipped with CPanel and Plesk Hosting control panel for an additional small service fee. There is also an option to include the Fantastico script installer to your clients.

Root Access: Lunarpages provides root access to your dedicated servers
Service Offerings
General Managed Services - Bundles
Lunarpages provides general support for the servers with limited fully managed hosting options. Extended managed hosting is available for $9.95 per month. This keeps the prices of the equipment low - if you are looking for fully-managed services and extended IT support then you should look elsewhere. Full self-service ability with a comfort level that your server will be up-and-running on a safe and secure environment than Lunarpages is an ideal option.
Security and Updates
Lunarpages employs what they call an Active Response Protocol to actively monitor their servers for outages and attacks. Further, the use of DDoS protection hardware also allows them to protect your data from all sorts of outside attacks. Remote rebooting is available and costs $10 per occurrence.
Firewall
Advanced Policy Firewall (APF), a modular, policy-based IP tables system maintained by R-fx Networks, is available for Linux server users.
Backup Services
Lunarpages' dedicated customers get 2 GB backup storage with additional backup storage available for a $25 setup fee and $20 per 10 GB.
