Kinsta started shaking up the web hosting industry in early 2014, and has earned a reputation for high-end performance and expert support for managed WordPress hosting. Managed WordPress hosting is the sole service offered by Kinsta and they’re aiming to be the best. Built on the reliable Google Cloud platform and offering unlimited pageviews and visitors, Kinsta is designed for high-traffic, high-performance websites.
Kinsta offers business and enterprise hosting plans from $100 to $1500 per month. If you outgrow the $1500 enterprise plan, they’ll work with you to create a custom solution that fits your needs.
Kinsta Plans & Pricing (2022)
Kinsta’s WordPress-optimized plans are designed for businesses that need great performance, tight security, and expert 24/7 support. It’s not a web host for those on a tight budget, but for the users who can’t compromise on features and reliable performance, Kinsta delivers value for the price. All plans, whether you are on the least or most expensive, offer the same core features: unlimited visits and pageviews, automated daily backups, SSL support, staging environments, and at least one free migration.
The number of sites, maximum bandwidth, and available storage vary based on the plan. The $100 per month Business 1 plan includes one WordPress site, one free migration, 5GB SSD storage, and 50GB server bandwidth. At the other end of the scale, the $1500 per month Enterprise 4 plan includes 100 WordPress sites, five free migrations, 200GB SSD storage, and 1500GB server bandwidth.
Kinsta was the first managed WordPress web host to build its infrastructure exclusively on the Google Cloud Platform. With Google Cloud, Kinsta has access to one of the world’s largest, most redundant networks with data centers all over the world, resulting in impressive response times and availability. With multi-region support, all backup data is stored in at least two geographical regions, protecting Kinsta customers from data loss even in case of regional disasters.
A strong commitment to security is another tool Kinsta uses to ensure system reliability. Hardware firewalls, uptime monitoring, and continuous malware scanning protect Kinsta servers from both known and unknown threats. And if a Kinsta WordPress site is compromised despite all these security measures, Kinsta will fix it free of charge.
Kinsta has developed its own proprietary admin panel where you can manage everything from account billing to site management and analytics. In keeping with Kinsta’s commitment to security, the admin panel supports two-factor authentication and an activity log.
Responsive customer support is available 24/7 from within the admin panel. All support staff are experienced WordPress experts and developers, and they can help with migrations, themes, plugins, security, performance, and any other WordPress issue you may have. The Kinsta blog is a great resource for deep-dives into WordPress case studies and how-to articles. More than user documentation, the blog also provides inspiration for WordPress design and functionality.
